Under the Spotlight: Getting to Know Stacy Jones

How many years have you been with Odyssey?

I’ve been with Odyssey for over 9 years now! I started here right out of college and have never looked back. This team has watched me grow into the person I am today and has truly become a second family to me.

What aspect of working for Odyssey do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy working with our close-knit team and love the flexibility we are given. We only hire the best of the best to join our team. It’s important to have a work culture that supports and encourages you and we have just that!

What activities do you enjoy engaging in when you’re not working?

In my spare time, I love being outside and, on the water, as much as possible! My husband and I share a beautiful baby girl named Caroline, a beagle named George Jones, and our sweet cat Maxwell. I enjoy traveling, music, shopping, coffee, photography, going to country concerts, and spending time with my family & friends!

What makes Odyssey a compelling choice for clients?

At Odyssey, we prioritize the needs of our clients and the happiness of our consultants. We strive to make the perfect match for each job placement and focus on building lasting relationships along the way!

In today’s market, what advice would you give to a job seeker?

I would say don’t put all of your eggs in one basket! I’ve seen multiple candidates lose out on good opportunities because they were waiting on a job offer from one company that was never received. Also, be open to contract roles especially when in between jobs! Contract positions can lead to unexpected opportunities and often come with many of the same perks that permanent roles provide.

What do you look forward to at work?

I look forward to Thursdays at work every week because we eat breakfast together as a team and chit chat about our week. It’s a small perk that makes for a fun morning which we all look forward to each week!
