Choosing an Agile Methodology
Given the aggressive timelines of the project, a kanban approach to development was selected to keep the team lean and focused.
Writing User Stories
Initial requirements called for extensive analysis and design. Odyssey’s business analyst utilized his industry experience to write nearly 200 user stories.
Building the Application Environments
Our developers leveraged the client’s e-commerce web application framework to develop new micro-services and rework existing services, while the single-page applications were built from scratch using modern technologies. The team worked with external teams to define the interfaces between applications and build the environments for the new application.
Validating Code Quality
Our testers validated the code being built was high quality and reflected the requirements. Extensive documentation was created by the entire team to ensure the application met the enterprise’s expectations.
