Odyssey Information Services Inc. has successfully employed W2 contract employees on multiple large projects since our inception. Below is a brief summary of services provided and some of the advantages with using our contract consulting services.

An advantage with being employed by Odyssey is our compensation and employment package is very attractive. In most cases our benefits are as competitive as most companies. We offer the choice of full benefits for salary or hourly w-2 wages. With either option these benefits include Medical, Dental, Long-term Disability and Life Insurance. We also offer a matching 401k. Our salaried consultants accrue 17 days of vacation and sick days and 8 paid holidays. Once they are employed for a period of five years they can accrue 22 days of vacation and sick days, as well as 8 paid holidays.

Another advantage with Odyssey is that our client managers typically have our consultants start very quickly. It is often easier for a client company to bring on an Odyssey consultant than hiring a permanent employee directly.

As an independent contractor, you must be incorporated and will be offered a competitive rate per hour worked or in some cases a fixed bid rate. You will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and retirement planning. Contract durations are twelve months or less for Independent contractors.

It is the policy of Odyssey that we do not use third-party staffing suppliers to fill any of our contract openings.
